Autumn winds and rain are here to stay and so is my moodiness.
Woke up feeling tired and under the weather. Ha ha ha. I made a pun.
After having something to eat and a nice cuppa, was still feeling a tad bit crabby. Talked to Pneo a bit in between calls and having to be the middle person between my landlady and my primary school friend, Bubble Doll. You see, on Saturday she came to pick me up to go to her house for an early birthday dinner, when she backed her car into the mailbox. My landlady had been bugging me to get my friend to fix it. Apparently, it was slanting so much, contents would purge out after letters and flyers were slotted in.
She swung by today, and after having a look at the damage, took me out for bubble tea and we did a bit of Op-Shop shopping. Op-shop meaning shops that sell second hand or reject goods at real bargains. We went into two and at the second shop I found two great pieces of clothing. Unfortunately the sizes were a bit small for me. Would have been a blast to get a classic sheath dress (by Portman) and matching pastel pink work jacket. Darn. The total would have come up to only AUD30. Imagine that!
Since the shop was about to close, we finally walked to the bubble tea shop. Thinking it would be good to have it warm, I ordered my favourite flavour passionfruit. And with milk. The verdict - still a wrong combination. Sucks. And the milk and juice were separating in the cup. All the more interesting. Hoping I would not get a stomachache.
We chatted a bit more before I was dropped off at my place. Had a good chat about what we want to do next in our lives and just happily telling her about my Pneo. My sweet Pneo ^__^.
Got into the house, chuck the handbag onto the dressing table, fell onto the bed and stared at the ceiling.
"Not so bad afterall," I thought to myself.
But darn! If only the dress and jacket were a size bigger.
